Born and raised in Central Africa, Nathalie Brenac carries a lifelong, deeply rooted connection to the land; one that continues to shape her work today. That upbringing instilled in her a profound reverence for nature, and her art remains grounded in themes of conservation and environmental awareness.

Drawing has been part of her life since early childhood, serving as her first and most enduring form of expression. She went on to study Advertising Design and Art History, supplementing her formal education with private study under artists she admired. Her painting career began with trompe l'oeil work -- the art of illusion -- before she discovered clay sculpture 20 years ago. The three-dimensional medium resonated with her immediately, and it has remained her primary focus ever since.
 

Over the past 15 years, she has exhibited in numerous shows across Florida and the Bahamas, where she also deepened her practice by learning bronze casting and the lost-wax process.
 

At the heart of her work is a desire to reveal fluidity within rigidity — to bring movement to the static, and life to solid matter. Whether working in sculpture or paint, she strives to infuse each piece with a sense of peace and harmony, offering the viewer a quiet respite from the noise of everyday life.
 

Her most recent exhibition was presented at Spectrum Art Basel Miami in 2019. Nathalie currently lives and works in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where she continues to take on client commissions while returning, again and again, to the natural world as an endless source of inspiration.
